Take a photo of your meal. Toro shows the items, their weight, calories, protein, fat and carbs. Correct what is off and save it. That is the whole app, plus a calculator for your daily calorie target.

Three steps for every meal.
Photograph your plate, or pick a photo from your library.
The photo goes to our server, and an AI model returns the items with weight, calories, protein, fat and carbs.
Change a portion, remove an item or add a hint such as “no sugar in the coffee”, then save the meal to your day.
The result is an AI estimate from a picture, not a measurement. Weighing your food is more precise.
Nothing else is built into the app.
One photo gives the list of items with grams, calories and macros. You can change each portion and save the meal. There is no food database to search and nothing to type in by hand.
Enter sex, age, height, weight and activity, your goal (lose, maintain or gain), your current and desired body fat percentage, and the pace. Toro calculates calories and macros per day, a target weight and the time it takes. Change your profile and the numbers update.
The calculator uses the Katch-McArdle formula when you give a body fat percentage and Mifflin-St Jeor when you do not. It is a general calculation, not medical advice.
The first 3 days are free, and Toro does not ask for a card to start them. After that, counting calories from photos needs a Toro Pro subscription.
Available monthly or annually. Prices for your country are shown in the App Store before you subscribe, so they are not listed here.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account and the subscription renews automatically until you cancel. You can manage or cancel it at any time in your App Store account settings. The terms are in Apple's standard EULA.
Your profile and meal history stay on your iPhone. A photo is sent to our server only to be counted and is not saved there. Toro has no accounts, no third-party analytics SDKs and no tracking; the only counting we do is how many devices use Toro per day and per month, by a hashed identifier. Details are in the privacy policy.
